Ordering & Shipping

When will my order be sent?

Orders are typically dispatched Monday to Wednesday to avoid delays over the weekend. We aim to send orders within 1–3 working days.


How are insects packaged?

All livestock is packed securely using appropriate containers, ventilation, and heat packs will be provided in cold weather.


What delivery service do you use?

We use a tracked next day royal mail service to make sure invertebrates arrive safely.


Do you ship outside the UK?

No, at present, we only ship within the UK.


What happens if I’m not home for delivery?

It is important that someone is available to receive the parcel on the first delivery attempt. We cannot be responsible for losses due to missed deliveries.


Livestock & Care

Are your insects captive bred?

Yes — all stock is captive bred and maintained in-house to ensure healthy, established cultures.


What size/age insects will I receive?

Unless stated otherwise, livestock is supplied as mixed nymphs or juveniles. Exact sizes may vary. Tiger beetles are sold as adults.


Do you provide care advice?

Currently the careguide section is under construction, but feel free to email us to find out more care information for any species we keep.


Issues & Guarantees

What if my insects arrive dead (DOA)?

In the unlikely event of DOA, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos of the invertebrates. We will review and offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.


Can I return live insects?

Due to the nature of live animals, we do not accept returns of livestock.


What if there is a problem with my order?

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

Do I need to be a certain age to order?

By placing an order, you confirm you are 18 years or older.
