Delivery conditions
Shipping information;
We currently ship within the UK only. All livestock is packed securely using appropriate containers and insulation to ensure safe transit.
Dispatch Days;
Orders are dispatched Monday to Wednesday to avoid parcels being held in transit over the weekend.
Delivery Method;
Royal mail tracked 24 hours will be used for live invertebrate shipping, and are usually delivered the day after shipping.
Weather Conditions;
We reserve the right to delay dispatch during extreme temperatures (hot or cold) to ensure the safety of livestock.
Customer Responsibility;
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the parcel on the day of delivery. Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by incorrect information.
Live Arrival Guarantee
We take great care in packaging all livestock to ensure safe arrival.
In the unlikely event of DOA (dead on arrival), please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence in the original unopened packaging.
Where valid, we will offer a replacement (if we have extras available) or refund at our discretion.
Conditions:
- The parcel must be accepted on the first delivery attempt
- Someone must be available to receive the parcel
- Claims made outside the stated timeframe cannot be accepted
We cannot be held responsible for losses caused by:
- Missed deliveries
- Parcels left outside
- Incorrect addresses
- Extreme weather once sent (but we will plan ahead to reduce this ever happening)
Refunds and returns
Due to the nature of live animals, we do not accept returns of livestock.
For non-live goods (e.g. dry goods), returns may be accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided items are unused and in original condition.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Refunds or replacements will be issued at our discretion once the issue has been reviewed.
