Captive-bred Shadow Roaches, Pycnoscelus nigra, available as 10 mixed-size nymphs.

A small easy to care for burrowing species. They will spend most of their time underground but will happily come up for food at the surface. My nickname for this species is soil piranha as they swarm up on fresh fruit and vegetables added to the tub.

Keep them in a secure container with deep organic rich soil with leaf litter on the surface.

Best kept at 24-26C, with relatively high humidity by maintaining good soil moisture.

This stock is parthenogenic so consists of only females, who will produce broods of young.
