Captive-bred black Hissing Cockroaches, Gromphadorrhina portentosa, available as 10 mixed-size nymphs.

A large, hardy species well known for its characteristic hissing behaviour. An excellent choice for beginners and experienced keepers alike, suitable for both display and handling.

This variety differs from normal Gromphadorrhina portentosa, in that they are black rather than the normal red/orange colouration.

They are surface dwellers and do well with lots of bark and structure to climb on.

They enjoy a range of fruits, vegetables and dry flake foods.
